Hangul Day Holiday 2022

The Hangul Day, or Korean Alphabet Day, is coming up this Sunday, October 9th (2022). To celebrate this day, Monday 10th was announced to be National Holiday this year.

On this day, South Korea celebrates the invention of the Korean Alphabet (Hangul) by King Sejong the Great in the 15th century. Before then, Koreans used Chinese characters and so the Korean Alphabet was specially developed by the King in order to make reading and writing easier for people.

As this day is a national holiday, no deliveries will be coming in or going out and our staff will not process orders or answer messages. We will reopen again normally on Tuesday, October 11th.
