Korean Sizing: Korean Size Chart to US & UK sizes
It can get really confusing when trying to figure out your Korean sizing to get the best fit for clothes and shoes. At Korean Buddies, we understand that Korean sizes are completely different to other international sizing systems, so we’re here to help you with your decision! Our comprehensive Korean size chart includes size comparisons to the US, UK, Europe, and Japan.
One thing to note when buying free sizes:
There is a general tendency for Korean female clothes to be produced in petite sizes compared to other countries. Although most stores will provide their own specifications and measurement guidelines, a quick size conversion can usually do the job. However, you should specifically check product measurements when they are available as a free size. This is because, ironically, many people find the free size uncomfortable to wear as they’re made to fit sizes between 44 and lean 66. The US equivalent to this is size 2–6, and the UK, size 4–12.

Additional note: For European sizes refer to the following. French (FRA) sizes are used across Belgium, Spain and Portugal. German (GER) sizes are used in Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, and Sweden.
Korean Pants Sizes
There isn’t a standard size chart for pants, shops will either use the Korean size or International size mentioned in the chart above (e.g. size 55 vs. S). You should check product measurements as waist width (or girth) will differ based on whether it's a high-waist, mid-waist, or low-rise pants.
Korean Size Chart for Shoes
The Korean sizing for shoes is relatively easy as it’s just the measurement of your foot length in mm. If you know how your US or UK size converts as mm, that’s your Korean size!

Tip! You can easily convert men’s shoe size to women’s by adding 1.5 to the women’s shoe size and vice versa. For example, if you’re a female with US size 8.5, you’ll want to look for size 7.
Korean Bra Sizes
If you are experiencing any difficulties with your bra size, a general rule of thumb is to substitute for a higher cup-lower band size, or lower cup-higher band size. For example, if your size is 75B, you either want 70C or 80A.
Choose the first option (higher cup-lower band), if you proportionally have a larger cup volume and smaller rib cage, and the other way round, if you have a smaller cup volume and wider rib cage.
